  1. Kia ora Terry,

It is great to read that you are proud of your hometown and would highly recommend that people come to visit. I have spent quite a bit of time in the library and the staff seem so nice! In fact, I know that they are offering a cool reading programme there this summer. Do you ever participate in their 'Dare to Explore' programme? I am sure that Ana or Kristine would be really happy to help you out and show you how to get involved if you are interested. They both work at the library full-time.

In the meantime, I am really happy that you have joined us on the Summer Learning Journey. I have already learned something new from reading your posts. In fact, I didn't realise that Te Oro offers great activities and performances. I have just been there once to visit when all of the Manaiakalani cluster schools were having a showcase. It was very cool!

I will look forward to visiting Glen Innes in the new year. Sophie, the cluster manager for the Summer Learning Journey programme will be coming to Pt England i February with certificates and prizes for the SLJ programme participants and top bloggers. I am planning to come with her to the assembly. Can't wait to see you then!

    Bye for now,
    Rachel

  2. Kia Orana Terry,

This piece of writing about your hometown was awesome. I liked how you've putted in so much detail's towards your writing and how you've given us different places for us to visit. I would also agree with you to recommend others to visit our local stores/shops, schools and much more places. What's your favourite place to visit, here in Auckland?

    Kind Regards,
    Hinerangi
