Cross country

Walt: structure a recount. 

Last Friday we had our annual cross country fun run.It was a mega fun run It is so so tiring.How did you go?Lets do this.

I was so so nervous before we had to run.It was also cool I was so pumped up I could do anything.It was so so fun cause I got butterflies.It was just amazing,seeing everyone there nearly,everyone.What didyou feel like.

At the start our principal said stand up straight.On your marks get set go,so I sprinted to the first cone,  then to the next.Then when I got out the gate,there was huge puddles that we had to run through.I kept running to the very end right upto the finish line..

I was tiring and puffing therefor I had a water and sat down I was getting congratulated with the number 2.Then after that we all went into our class lines ready to go home.I was so relieved.To be honest I am just so so proud.

I learnt that next time that if I keep trying I will get better and better.My family was very happy.At least I tried.

Task description Our anual school cross country  was at Pt england school we had 4 different groups we had 4 different groups I was quite proud of myself read the story to find out how I done.

First up mercury oh yeah cmon let's go hurry up and chop the doh.ahhhhhhhhhhh.Nope no way I am getting out there it is to hot and man its not fare.Its rather to hot and in the shade it's to cold.Okay yep lets go.

2nd to the sun is venus we are here yay.Hip hip harry,chanted chu.Why are you chanting chu you just had the flu.But here we are and this is way to hot.It cant be to cool.Okay lets go.

Hey can you see that planet definitely who can't ooh chu did you do poo no said chu it just the lou.Okay we're off ahh ahh now thats a cough dont have a bough.Oh no its alright I think so to.it is alright I just find it a little to hot.

Next planet here we come were going to just look at it chu we cant go into it we will just fall right through it ok next planet is saturn.

Hi guys back usual now it's time for Term 2.Now this time were learning about what technology the Maori’s use to back in the days. Im really looking forward to it.

Our school topic is Now that's thinking.Team 1 is learning about kites.Team 2 is similar but They're also learning about Matariki.Team 3 is just copying both of them. Were learning Team 4 about old technology .Lucky last Team 5 was learning about fixing things.

Team 4 always has the best learning no matter the cost.Our movie seemed cool so I guess our learning will be fun.Our movie was about what kind of technology was the old people doing back in the days and how they would resist.

I wasn't looking forward to this topic this term.I was hoping to see the dinosaurs at the museum and other old living creatures.The reason why is because dinosaurs are cool and are very describable and they look awesome.

What I think about our topic 1 to 10 ill rate it as a 5 average.I think its not bad cause it sound kind of catchy.All the prefects and the principal always make the school themes.They always are cool.

Ecosystems

Ecosystems.Do you like Ecosystems well I'll  tell you a little bit about myn. Ecosystems are important in this world cause if we have to much of the same animal then Stuff could go out of hand.Say if we have to much birds then we will have heaps of trees .And if we have heaps of trees then we will have to much bugs and insects like mosquitoes and other insects .Then if that does happen nature will take over the world.That is why we need a little bit of goodness in our world and a little bad in our world.This is my Ecosystem.

The spider eats the Insect.The insect will eat the lizard. Then the lizard will eat the cockroach then the cockroach will eat the crumbs.Then the crumbs will later on turn into mould.Then the rat will eat the mould then the cat will eat the rat and the spider.

Red Back spider Vs the Mimic chameleon spider

Once upon a time there lived a Chameleon mimic spider it was so cautious But deadly on the other hand.There was just one other thing it hated other spiders it was so deadly only because of what it can do.

It could mimic anything that it thinks,that's going to threaten it.It could turn camouflage and it could also look like its prey or its enemy.It lives in The rain forest and guess what there is only 5 of them in the world.They are so very rare.

One day the MC spider went out for lunch it seemed very hungry.It loved jumping spiders and insects its rival is a red back spider They hate each other because centuries ago they made an agreement that they won't start trouble with anyone.But they broke that promise.So the Red backs and the MC spiders Had a great war together They shared generations and generations fighting upon each other.

That was when they started to Hate each other and becoming rivals with one another.That was also how they are both rare in this world so this battle will known to be a legendary fight.The MC spider takes the first shot and shoots a cobweb and then the Red back Gets stuck and so the MC spider inserts vicious venom in the red back and red back dies slowly.

The Mc spider takes the glory and his reward is lunch.So the MC spider lives happily ever after.

Year 5 and 6 non campers

It must be boring In class  room 9 and 10 again while everyone's out having fun.But guess what it was fun because we made pancakes.It was fun as.We done  nothing much it was just an ordinary calm time together.We just read  books playing hoops.But nothing went wrong.It was weird.

My favourite part was making and eating pancakes.My one  had nutella and banana and whipped cream.It was good.Id like Mrs Stickland for looking after us.I learned how to make a good tasting pancake.

Native bird writing

Wouldn’t you like more Native birds than non native birds?I really want you guys to look after these little fellas so we can have more trees.We need these guys for pollution.

Some birds like Tui need to be around this area don’t you think.We need more of these birds around this area Tamaki.But if we look after them,they might come around here.

Hey guys would you like more birds yes or no.The reason why is cause we need more native birds around our community so we can have more trees and live our life here the best that we can.I really do want a couple of these birds But I really want a bellbird lets see what you feel about these birds.

Man these non native birds to gap it otherwise our native birds will be killed.We need these guys like New Zealand falcons to fly where they came from.We need way way less of these non native birds.

I feel like this whole thing needs to be rearranged.We just need more and more birds.We need to live life.

the race

Have you ever had a race none like before well you probably did to.My teacher Mr goodwin told us to line up on the line and didn't know anything and he just said the instructions.Then he just randomly said ‘’go’’ just like Boooom.

But we just ran and ran until it was finished we had to run all the way to the golf post and back.It was easy peasy. Cause why cause I came first just like most races.I always win races cause I reckon I'm pretty fast for my age but no biggy.

You should have a try at it,its really really fun especially if there's heaps of people like all your friends.It couldnt get more fun.It was better than a new movie coming out of the cinemas.I just waited for everyone to come. Then we had a little tiny break.

Then we just lined up for a drink of water. Then we had our water then we walked back to class.Then we had a big big rest.Then we continued our work.

Have you ever built a skyscraper  out of a newspaper?Well I have.But you need to make it tall like my one.Man I wish I was so small so I could go inside it and  I will live happily ever after.Wouldn't you.You can go upstairs and just do what you wish.But no I wish I actually Built it like this I got my group of friends of 7 then we started building.We 1st done the rolling of the paper into a cylinder,2nd we got the paper and started stacking then we got stick tape and sticked it to the paper then we just stacked and done just like that.

Well we did’nt seem to succeed as we thought.We just lost.We did’nt know what went on.We tried very hard and done it with pride.I  learned that being bossy isn't nice so I looked at the other teams and they looked happy.We all laughed and then we put it in the bin. Then we just carried on.
